I discovered your web site when researching my ancestors John Taylor
(Revolutionary war soldier) and his wife Comfort Burleigh. Both you and
I had traced back to those ancestors (and earlier), then forward on
different lines. I found that John Taylor and Comfort Burleigh had nine
children: you descend from their son George Washington Taylor, and I
from there daughter Sophronia D. Taylor (traced this line when I visited
the Genealogical Library in Salt Lake City in 1985).

Entering your data into my genealogy program, it appears we are 5th
cousins once removed.

I am currently tying to trace forward on different branches of my
family.
